UNDERSTANDING THE DYNAMICS OF THE HYDROGEN PROJECT

PROCESSES INVOLVED IN THE AUTHENTICATION OF HYDRO PROJECT

The HYDRO project authentication processes can be classified into three(3) major stages which will be briefly explained below;

INITIALIZATION

Initialization is the assignment of an initial value for a data object or variable in computer programming but in Hydro’s perspective, initialization begins with a system used in obtaining credentials making sure that the system can be able to communicate with the blockchain via the Hydro Module.

RAINDROP

This process occurs after the initialization process must have been completed, thus making sure the hydro authentication process must begin enabling the accessor to execute a raindrop transaction by requesting raindrop details from the system and the in return routes the request to HYDRO which generates a new raindrop storing certain unchanged details on the blockchain and then returns full details to the accessor via the system.

VALIDATION

This is the final step of processes involved in hydro authentication thereby making the accessor request access to the system via the system’s mechanism. Before this can be done, the system enquires from Hydro to be sure if the accesor has performed a valid raindrop transaction. However, Hydro after much interaction with the smart contract checks for validity and responds with a true/false designation leaving the system to be able to decide how it should proceed. Based on the designation received from Hydro, it makes it easy for the system to deny access or grant access if it is false or true respectively.

Overall the HYDRO project has set out to add value in financial services, enhance security of private systems through raindrops integrating immediate applications of the hydro raindrop with Hydrogen application programming interface.
